I’m a seasoned Staff UX Design Lead with an ever-present optimism and knack for cross-functional collaboration. I drive a diverse set of innovative projects across Google Maps and currently lead a team of designers, prototypers, researchers, and writers in designing new search and explore experiences for Google Maps.
Not too long ago, I led a multidisciplinary design team in pitching, prototyping, and launching Google Maps Live View, a mobile augmented reality feature. A bit about that journey here.
Previously at Google, I led design for Google Earth, Project Sunroof, Google Earth Outreach, and Google Apply. Prior to joining Google, I designed experiences for Nike.com and Samsung Global at the interactive agency, R/GA. For the past 7 years, I've enjoyed teaching design classes in Milan, Moscow, Mexico City, New York City, and Barcelona.
